I'm Jostlyn

Registered dietitian, Jesus follower, + the heart behind Daily Bread Nutrition.

I believe food was never meant to be a source of stress, shame, or striving. It was designed by God to nourish, connect, + point us back to Him.

With a background in nutrition research + years of experience helping women build sustainable habits, I’ve seen firsthand how diets high in fiber, antioxidants, + whole foods support real, lasting health. But I’ve also seen how the wrong mindset—obsession, restriction, idolizing health—can disconnect us from the freedom Jesus offers.

That’s why I created Covenant Nourishment—a grace-filled, biblically grounded approach to food that honors God’s design for our bodies, embraces His timing + provision, + rejects diet culture’s extremes.

Whether you’re here for a course, a product, or a place at the Covenant Table, my prayer is that you leave feeling more whole, more rooted, + more loved—not because of what you eat, but because of who He is.

Credentials

  • Registered + Licensed Dietitian since 2016

  • 3+ years in nutrition counseling specializing in:

  • Weight management

  • Diabetes care

  • Disordered eating (especially binge eating)

Former hospital RD with a focus on:

  • Critical care

  • Enteral nutrition

  • Cardiac

  • Respiratory

Family

  • Married to my amazing husband since 2017

  • Mom to 3 sweet kids — 1 girl + 2 boys (ages 5, 3, and 1)

  • Dog mama to 2 pups (Olde English Bulldog and Boxer)

Hobbies & Life

  • Serve on the worship team at church

  • Love baking sourdough + experimenting with fermentation

  • New to gardening… still trying to keep a plant alive!
